Terms and Conditions
1. Overview
Welcome to Dual Design Studio. By engaging with our services or placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below. These terms are designed to ensure clarity, consistency, and a seamless client experience.
2. Products & Services
Dual Design Studio offers bespoke furniture, curated pieces, and design services. Due to the custom nature of many of our products, slight variations in finish, texture, and tone may occur. These are considered part of the design and not defects.
3. Quotations & Orders
All quotations are valid for a limited period as specified. An order is confirmed once the quotation has been accepted and the required payment has been received.
4. Payment Terms
A full payment is required to secure production, depending on the furniture piece. No items will be released without confirmed payment.
5. Production Timelines
Production timelines are estimates and may vary depending on design complexity, materials, and workload. While we strive to meet deadlines, timelines are not guaranteed.
6. Cancellations & Changes
Once production has commenced, the Customer will be charged a cancellation fee of 100% regardless of when they have elected to cancel.
7. Delivery
Delivery is arranged once production is complete and payment has been received in full.
7A. Warranty
We hereby warrant that our product, at the date of delivery, is in good working condition and fit for the purposes for which it is purchased.
8. Installation & Site Responsibility
Clients are responsible for ensuring that the site is ready for installation or delivery. Dual Design Studio is not liable for delays or complications arising from incomplete or unsuitable site conditions.
9. Returns & Refunds
Returns on standard items may be considered at our discretion. Approved returns must be in original condition and may be subject to handling fees.
10. Care & Maintenance
Clients are responsible for the ongoing care of their furniture.
11. Liability
Dual Design Studio takes care to deliver products and services to a high standard. However, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
12. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
